Slip back in time and experience the exotic jungle flora & fauna. Your guide will escort you through the jungle rivers, or to the flats, or inside the reef... which is second in size only to the Great Barrier Reef of Australia. It is possible to see Manatee, Crocodiles, Iguana, Howler Monkeys, colorful Macaws, and more! Ride on smooth water on windy days in the backcountry!
The Following Jungle-Tours (Snorkeling see #3) are on our agenda...
1. Belize River... A tour up the Belize River with a stop at Boom. You will see monkeys, iguanas, crocodiles, and abundant marine life in this jungle river tour.
2. Inside waterways direct your path to the Sibun and Manatee Rivers. Wildlife abounds as your captain maneuvers your craft through winding jungle rivers and mangrove tunnels.
3. Snorkeling: Not really a jungle tour as trip is in outside waters, but you will cruise the crystal waters where manatee and marine life thrive in the pristine waters. Include a stop on your private island such as Sergeants Caye. View the scenery from the boat, or for the more adventurous... snorkel up and jump in for an up close and personal visit. Note: Outside trip not available on windy/rough days... your safety is our primary concern.
TRIPS INCLUDE PROFESSIONAL GUIDE AND 23-27' BOAT, GROUND TRANSPORTATION TO/FROM OUR BOAT(s), LUNCH, SOFT DRINK, AND WATER. ADDITIONAL SOFT DRINKS, WATER, & BEER CAN BE PURCHASED AT OUR DOCK. COOLER(s) WITH ICE WILL BE ON THE BOAT.
Our guides will work hard for you, TIPPING is recommended.
NOTE: REEF TOURS & SNORKELING ON CALM WATERS ONLY... YOUR SAFETY ALWAYS OUR CONCERN! Although our tours probably have a 95% success rate as going according to plan, there are certain conditions beyond our control that may render your trip unsuitable or unsafe... we reserve the right to substitute a tour of comparable value. An example would be rough seas that make outside eco or snorkeling trips uncomfortable or unsafe; or a heavy rain in the mountains overnight that could swell the river to a level that would make cave tubing unsafe, or make a road to a specific destination flood, etc. Your safety is primary concern.. and even though it is a rare occurrence that we need to substitute an alternate plan, we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in such matters. Some tours simply should not be attempted by someone who is physically or mentally not up to the challenge. Our guide has the right to suggest an alternate plan for such an individual. In no case will safety of the person or those nearby be compromised.
